Magaliesburg Water Infrastructure Rehabilitation Project

The infrastructure of the water system at Magaliesburg campus is more than 60 years old. The ageing water pipes, sanitation and storage systems have succumbed to erosion and leakages. The Magaliesburg water infrastructure rehabilitation project goal comprises of the replacement of the water pipelines across the entire campus. The estimated cost to complete the project is R1 363 417. The project impact: To meet the water and sanitation demands of Magaliesburg efficiently, while reducing the R40 000 a month water bill that they are currently experiencing.
