The Tongaat Capital Campaign

Our Tongaat campus buildings stand condemned and now over 61 years of work that has served to build the strong foundations of so many young may fail too.

Together with the generous help of Boogertman +Partners and other firms who have already rallied to help our cause, we have found an ingenious way to not only preserve KwaZulu Natal history but to serve the future generations of children who so desperately depend on our strong grounding to survive and thrive also.

Kagiso Computer Lab Upgrade

Kagiso provides education services to the youth at the campus via their learning support centres. The learning support centres use computer-based methods to evaluate and address youths’ educational needs in literacy and mathematics; which are identified as core challenges facing South African learners and much-needed building blocks for all other learning areas. We are seeking to raise R152 567 to upgrade the aged IT equipment at the learning support centre’s computer lab. The project impact: To provide youth with the necessary resources to enhance their education, giving them the best opportunity to better life outcomes.

Leave a legacy in your Will

Where there’s a will there’s a way …

… to keep on helping vulnerable  young boys and girls for years to come!

Especially if you’ve supported Girls & Boys Town in the past – or you wanted to, but couldn’t afford to make a gift– your Will provides the perfect opportunity for your caring concern to touch the lives of girls and boys far into the future.

By leaving a bequest to Girls & Boys Town, or ceding an endowment or insurance policy to us, you’ll ensure we’ll always be here for youth in need.

Best of all, you don’t need to spend any of your money now! Only when you no longer need it will the money or possessions you leave behind be put to work to change a child’s future.

Many people put off making a Will because they think it’s morbid or ‘tempting fate’. In fact, it’s a necessary and sensible step that brings great peace of mind, knowing your affairs are in order.

For more answers to your questions about Wills and bequests, get your free copy of our helpful booklet by clicking here.
